An open back is the one detail your guests see for longer than anything else. For the entire processional, and for most of the ceremony itself, the back of your dress is the dress. That is why these designs put the drama there — and why they photograph so well from behind, which is where a photographer spends more of the ceremony than most brides expect.

The backs here vary more than the front views suggest. Some open fully to the waist. Others use sheer illusion lace, so the shape is visible but the skin is not. Several close with a lace-up corset back, which carries a practical advantage worth knowing: it adjusts. If your measurements shift slightly between ordering and the wedding, a corset back absorbs it where a zip will not.

French lace keeps the front romantic and covered, so the overall effect reads confident rather than exposed. Every gown is handmade to order in our Israeli studio, in standard sizing or made to measure.
