About Custom Made

Are your wedding dresses really made to my measurements?

We offer standard sizes and Custom Made sizing. For Custom Made orders, Shany reviews the measurements you provide before the fabric is cut and contacts you if anything looks inconsistent.

What if my measurements aren't standard?

We make gowns for every body: plus size, petite, tall and everything in between. Just send your measurements.

Can I change the design: neckline, sleeves, lining, slit?

Yes, most gowns can be adjusted before cutting: sleeve length or shape, neckline depth, back coverage, lining colour and skirt slit. Tell us what you want changed before you order and Shany will confirm what holds the shape on that particular gown. Custom changes are built in from the first cut, not added later.

What happens if I send the wrong measurements?

Shany reads every set of measurements before cutting and writes back if two numbers do not agree, so most mistakes are caught before the fabric is touched. If your gown arrives damaged or different from what you ordered, contact us within 3 days with photos and we will make it right.

How do I choose my size?

Compare your bust, waist and hips with our size chart and pick a standard size (XS–XL). Between sizes, or want an exact fit? Choose Custom Made and follow our measurement guide.

Production & Shipping

How long does it take?

Production takes 5-6 weeks for gowns, followed by 3-5 business days for DHL or UPS Express delivery. Order at least 10 weeks before your wedding so there is room for delivery.

My wedding is less than 10 weeks away. Can you rush my gown?

Sometimes. Message Shany before you order and she will tell you honestly whether we can make your date.

Where do you ship?

Worldwide, via DHL Express and UPS Express, fully tracked. Most of our orders go to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany and France, but we ship far beyond those.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico?

Yes. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico require an additional shipping fee of $150 USD. Please contact us before placing your order so we can arrange it.

Will I pay customs or duties?

Duties and taxes are prepaid where shown at checkout. If they are not shown for your destination, local charges may be collected on delivery, so ask us and we will confirm yours before you order. See our Shipping & Delivery page for details.

Can I pay in two installments?

Yes. Pay 50% when you order and the remaining 50% before your dress ships. Message Shany before ordering and she'll send you two secure payment links.

I'm ordering from Germany. What do I need to know?

Germany is one of our most frequent destinations. DHL Express takes 3-5 business days from the atelier. Duties and taxes are prepaid where shown at checkout; if they are not shown, DHL collects German import VAT when it delivers. Ask us before you order and we will confirm which applies to your address. The size chart and the measurement guide are available in German, and you can write to us in German or English. EU standard-size orders keep the statutory 14-day withdrawal right.

Returns

Can I return my dress?

For eligible standard-size orders, contact us within 7 days of delivery and follow the conditions in our Refund Policy. Eligible EU standard-size orders retain the statutory 14-day withdrawal right. Custom Made and personalized gowns are final sale once production begins. Full policy here.

Can I cancel my order?

Within 3 days of ordering, you get a full refund. Between 3 and 14 days, you get a 50% refund, because materials sourcing has begun. After 14 days, the order can no longer be canceled, because production has begun.

What if my dress arrives damaged?

Contact us within 3 days with photos. We'll replace, repair, or refund at no cost to you.

About Us

Where are you based?

Our studio is in Hod HaSharon, just outside Tel Aviv, Israel. Brides in Israel are welcome to visit by appointment for a consultation or a fitting; everyone else orders online and we ship worldwide. Shany Sasson is a third-generation bridal designer who founded the studio in 2011.

Can I visit the studio?

Yes, if you are in Israel. The studio in Hod HaSharon is open by appointment: message Shany on WhatsApp at +972 52-555-7106 to book a consultation or a fitting. Brides outside Israel are fitted remotely from their measurements, and Shany reviews every set herself before the fabric is cut.
