An elopement dress should feel special, but it also has to work for the day you are planning. This edit brings together six of our lighter wedding gowns in French lace and chiffon, chosen for intimate ceremonies, courthouse and city hall weddings, civil ceremonies, destination weddings, and outdoor celebrations.

If you want a non-traditional wedding dress that still feels bridal, these gowns are a good place to start. They use soft lace and chiffon instead of heavy satin, and they are easy to wear all day.

Are these dresses suitable for travel?

These gowns use softer fabrics, lighter construction, and easy-to-move-in silhouettes. Every design is different, so contact us if suitcase packing, climate, or dress weight matters for your plans.

Is a courthouse or civil wedding dress different from a regular wedding dress?

Not really. It is usually a lighter, less formal version of a bridal gown that still looks bridal. A soft lace or chiffon gown works for the ceremony and for the dinner afterwards. Our courthouse wedding dress guide has more ideas.

Can my elopement dress be made to my measurements?

Many gowns are available made to measure. Choose the Custom Made option when it appears, and we will send you the measurement guide before production begins.

How long will my dress take to arrive?

Most gowns take 5-6 weeks to make, plus 3-7 business days for DHL or UPS Express delivery. Rush production may be available. Contact us before ordering if your wedding date is close.

Can I return an elopement wedding dress?

Eligible standard-size gowns can be returned within 7 days. Made-to-measure and personalized gowns are final sale once production begins. Please read our return policy before ordering.
