Step 1: take your measurements first
Before you fall for a silhouette, know your numbers. Five of them: bust, waist, hips, height, hollow-to-hem. Soft tape, the underwear you will wear on the day, and a friend to help, measuring yourself is where most errors start.

Step 2: choose a studio you can check
There are a lot of dropshipped knockoffs using stolen photographs. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission's online shopping guidance says to check independent reviews and clear return terms before buying anywhere. That is the right instinct. What to look for:

- A production timeline stated in weeks, not vaguely.
- A way to reach the designer directly.

Step 3: know which boho you mean
"Boho" covers a lot of ground. Narrowing it early saves hours.

Step 4: the timeline
Five to six weeks to make, plus three to five business days by express courier. Order at least ten weeks before the wedding to be comfortable. Need it sooner? Ask, rush is sometimes possible for an additional fee, and we will tell you straight if it is not.
Step 5: duties and taxes
Every order ships by DHL or UPS Express. Duties and taxes are prepaid where shown at checkout.

Questions
Will I be charged customs when it arrives?
Duties and taxes are prepaid where they are shown at checkout. A few destinations apply local charges regardless, ask first and we will check yours.
How accurate do my measurements need to be?
Very. A Custom Made gown is built to the numbers you send, and a standard size is chosen from them. Follow the guide, measure twice, and if the two attempts disagree send us both and say so. Shany reviews every set before production.
Can I customise the dress?
Yes. Neckline, sleeve length, back coverage, lining, slit, and you can combine a bodice from one gown with the skirt of another.
How long until it arrives?
Five to six weeks to make, then three to five business days to ship. Order ten weeks out if you can.
