This is what the process actually looks like, from choosing a silhouette to the dress arriving.
The fear, and what is behind it
It is almost always about fit. Which is reasonable — you are buying the most photographed garment of your life without putting it on.
But the comparison is not "try it on" against "do not try it on." It is a sample size pinned to your body and then cut down afterwards, against a pattern drafted from your numbers before anything is cut. The second one starts closer. A hem or a strap may still want a small local adjustment, and that is normal for any wedding dress.

The process
- Choose your gown. Browse and find the silhouette you keep returning to.
- Send your measurements. We send an illustrated guide; you measure at home with someone helping.
- Shany checks them. She reads every set against itself and writes to you if a number looks off. Then the lace is cut.
- Five to six weeks of sewing in the atelier.
- It ships. DHL or UPS Express, three to seven business days, with duties and taxes prepaid where they are shown at checkout.

How do shipping and customs work?
DHL or UPS Express, worldwide. Duties and taxes are prepaid where they are shown at checkout, so the total you saw is the total you pay. A few destinations still apply local charges — ask and we will confirm yours.
What if I am nervous about measuring myself?
Send the numbers anyway and let Shany check them — that is what the review step is for. If you would rather be certain first, a local tailor will take them in ten minutes.
Can I customise my gown?
Yes. Necklines, sleeves, back coverage, lining colour, skirt details, or two gowns combined into one design.
How long does the whole thing take?
Five to six weeks to sew, plus three to seven business days to ship. We check it against your wedding date before you order.
